Considerations

There are a number of things to consider before commissioning a portrait.

1. The Season
For home or business portraits, pick a season that best suits your home or business to photograph for the portrait.

2. Lighting
Photograph your home on an overcast day. Bright sunny days will produce strong high contrast shadows which can mute or 'wash-out' colour.

3. Perspective
Perspective is the angle from which your home is photographed. You could photograph the house from directly in front, off-centre to the left or right, from an elevated position or even from ground level. Take additional photographs of specific objects to clarify details.

4. Final Image Size
There are four standard sizes 8"x10", 9"x12", 12"x16" or 16"x20".

Note:
There may be additional fees for complex details or special editing requests. If additional fees apply they will be identified for approval on the estimate.
