Commissioning a
portrait

SPECIAL OFFER
I am offering a discount on portraits of veterans and currently serving members. Being a veteran myself, I wish to demonstrate my pride and respect for current and past members with a 15% discount on any portrait with one subject.

Here is an outline of the process:

  1. Read the FAQs and Considerations pages.
  2. Gather your photos together.
    • While it is easier for me to work from electronic photographs, hard copies (paper photographs) are just fine.
    • Electronic photo files should be saved in .jpg or .pdf format.
    • Any text-based files should be saved in a generic text (.txt) format.
    • Before sending the files, collect all the relevant files together in a single folder and compress the folder into either a .zip or .sit file. This will reduce the size and speedup the transferring of the files and ensure they will all move together.
  3. Contact me, via email, for the most effective means to send me the zip file and your wishes.
  4. I will review the files and generate an estimate for costs and completion date.
  5. After your review and approval of the estimate I will complete the commission.
  6. Once the portrait is complete, I will send you a proof copy for your final approval. A Proof is a scanned version of the portrait with the word PROOF appearing as a watermark appearing on the image and is not intended to be interpreted as a final image.
  7. Your approval of the proof copy is to be accompanied by the completion of the financial transactions, and
  8. The portrait will be sent to you via courier. The tracking number will be sent to you so you may follow the shipment.

To commision a portrait,
please email my Sales Manager,
Marilyn Harris-Mills.
